Absolution
Absolution is the first novel in the Cohort Trilogy. It introduces four friends, three women, and Beau, a homosexual male. The four call themselves Cohorts, and live in an apartment lovingly referred to as the Cohort Quarters. The foursome believe their friendship is near perfect, until things start happening...Ronni, a hottie female Cohort, believes no man can resist her. So she betrays Beau her male Cohort-- by sleeping with his man. When Beau finds out, he and Ronni fight. Beau must leave their lovely home, and the remaining Cohorts are forced to choose sides.
As life, twisting and turning, continues...Ronni the betrayer becomes ill, terminally so. In an attempt to keep her Cohorts from finding out, she shuns them. How-
ever, someone is nosey...and it seems Ronni's misfortune might not remain hidden.
This provocative, sexy, fun, and sometimes even sad page-turner highlights the beating that the Cohorts’ friendship takes. It also shows that theirs, like any friendship, is flawed. Still, can the Cohorts exercise absolution, can they learn to forgive?
