The Cohort Trilogy, Beau in particular...

Hi friends and fam,

I must apologize. I’ve been so busy! I wanted to get back to you and tell you a bit more about Book I in The Cohort Trilogy, my super-fast-reading novel Absolution. Well, here I am.

To pick up where we left off, in Absolution, you get to meet Beau, one of the stars of the show, a buff beautiful gay male. Now he may look like he’s got it all together, but there are some other things going on, trust me. However, you’ll have to read the book to find out what those issues are. I will tell you thought that these things cause our Beau to almost seem to have two personalities, at times.

What I wanted to explain is that many people mistakenly believe that because a man is gay, he’s got to be girly. Not so. I tell you this from experience. I have many gay friends and for some, if they never told you, you’d never know. So when you open this book, do so with that in mind. Beau is in no way feminine. Thus, the ladies as well as the men adore him.

What I loved about writing this book is that I got to show you the many sides of Beau. This tall aspiring actor is a three dimensional character. He has likes, dislikes and I’ve given him emotions and actions that readers have responded to. Some people have written me and said, “Shame on you for making him do thus ‘n such...”Other people have written that blah-blah-this that he did, touched them. Therefore, suffice it to say, he is nothing like those cardboard people that we sometimes see in other novels.

Well, my darlings, I’ve got to run, but I will see you soon with more on The Cohort Trilogy, Absolution - Book I in particular.

Until then…in this holiday season, I wish you blessings and peace.

April
