The Cohort Trilogy, meet Veronica —more aptly known as Ronni…

Hi friends and fam,

Today, in keeping with our theme: The Cohort Trilogy - Book I,  Absolution which will soon be re-released with new ISBN numbers, new covers, and updated content I’d like to speak to you about our lead character. Well not about him exactly. I want to introduce Ronni to those of you who haven’t yet met her. This butter-yellow mouthy spirited woman happens to be Beau’s other roommate.

Now I must tell you, with Ronni [RON-nee] you will either love her or hate her, there is no in between. Supremely shapely, she is a woman who goes after what she wants. She does so whole-heartedly. There is never any half-stepping for this character. Due to these attributes of hers, she and our beautiful Beau often butt heads.

There are some scenes in Absolutionthat will have you going, “Ooh—no they didn’t!” Some of what happens between Beau and Ronni isj ust good fun, and you the reader will get to laugh, out loud. Other things that happen between these Cohorts is in a word, sad.

I wrote it like that because I’m an author who believes art should mirror life. In our real everyday lives, we have friends whom we love, and hate—thus the term frenemy.

Well, my darlings, you know what I’m going to say now. Ms.Lady’s got to run. My dear, dear friend’s birthday is approaching and I must get out, see about getting her something. Question, what do you get for someonewho is always giving? (Sigh) Your guess is as good as mine.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing you back here, real soon. We’ve got oodles of stuff to chat about. Why? Because I’ve got caboodles of stuff to tell you that I’ve written about. Then there are the other projects I’m working on.

Did I say I love what I do? Did I say I had to go? I really do.

Be blessed,

April
